WEAVING WITH LINEN

This course will have a round robin format which will provide an opportunity to sample several different weave structures and also a variety of linen yarns. This will help participants understand the challenges when working with linen as well as it’s suitability for various projects.

Riitta inherited her love for weaving as well as for flax and linen from her grandmother in Finland, where she later completed a degree course in woven textiles. She has lived and worked in Pembrokeshire for 47 years running courses in her workshop and other venues.
